Class Description
This 2-day advanced level course has been designed to teach the prationer an understanding of the viscera and their interrelationships. The anatomy, physiology and functions will be explored as they relate to the organ systems integration and regulation. Manual therapy strategies, interventions and applications will be discussed and taught. This course will include an optional comprehensive exam, offering the clinician eligibility towards certification in line of the orthopedic and osteopathic manual therapy courses.

Course Objectives
This 2-day course is designed to offer hands-on experience and to help the clinician gain expertise by learning how to:
- Evaluate the respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urogenital, endocrine and lymphatic systems.
- Learn interrelationships among various organs and describe the differences between somatic dysfunctions and visceral dysfunctions.
- Understand the endocrine system and describe its role in systems regulation.
- Design and implement appropriate treatment strategies for each visceral system and its corresponding organs.
