Description
This 2-day beginning to intermediate level course has been designed to teach the practitioner proper and effective evaluation techniques of structural abnormalities through the assessment of movement disorders of the pelvis and sacrum. The clinician will also gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of manual physical therapy, its principles and goals, as well as differences between indirect and direct modalities. Techniques for various biomechanical and soft tissue dysfunctions of the above-mentioned structures will enhance the clinician’s diagnostic and treatment skills for various diagnoses, including but not limited to, acute injuries and orthopedic conditions. This course will include an optional comprehensive exam, offering the clinician eligibility towards certification in line of the orthopedic manual therapy courses.
