Description
This 2-day course is designed to offer hands-on experience and to help the clinician gain expertise by learning how to:
- Identify the goals of manual therapy.
- Understand and define exercise and physical fitness.
- Understand and identify the three energy systems.
- Understand and identify Type I and Type II muscle fibers and how they are recruited.
- Perform postural assessment and correctly identify postural dysfunctions.
- Perform flexibility assessment and correctly identify flexibility dysfunctions.
- Understand and identify corrective exercises for postural dysfunctions.
- Understand and identify corrective exercises for soft tissue dysfunctions.
- Properly administer fitness test while identifying errors of the participants.
- Design and implement general exercise programs.
